My name is Glynn Hagley. I spent years inside small businesses, watching owners struggle with the same problem over and over again. Not how to do their job, but how to get found. Crush The Mark is the answer I kept wishing existed, built specifically for the professional service businesses that needed it most.
My Story
i didn't find marketing, marketing found me
Before I ever called myself a marketer I worked in property management, government contracting, nonprofit, and yes, even fracking tool rental. Different industries, different business models, different problems, but the same underlying reality in every single one of them.
Small business owners are always watching the money. Always asking whether what they're spending is working or disappearing into a hole they can't see the bottom of. I saw that worry up close for years before I had anything to offer it.
I also realized something early on that changed the way I thought about this whole industry: I'm not a typical salesperson. Never was. But I understood instinctively that businesses don't need everyone who walks through the door to buy something.
They need enough of the right people to show up interested. If you close a fraction of those, then you have a business. The rest works itself out.
That's marketing. Get the right people in the door. Let the business owner do what they're good at from there.
